does art always have a story? is the viewer’s experience made more rich when a narrative is brought to life? participating artist gilles larrain asks, “does the title create the image or the image define the title? perhaps both happen side by side." monogatari (meaning “tale” in japanese) shares the adaptation of both story and art works in equal gravity.
