rumi murakami face mask that gives back

rumi murakami designed reusable 100% cotton mask for everyday use, made to last through laundering over and over again. an open-top design so that nothing gets trapped between the two layers and for ease of inserting the filter of your choice. for every mask purchased, one is donated to a local non-profit supporting survivors of domestic violence. We discuss this and list the organizations in full detail here.


  • tight weave, high quality, 100% Japan cotton or one of the prints from our Hamakua collaboration with artist Laurie Sumiye

  • 1/8” elastic straps that go around your ears

  • Wide opening for a filter (not included with mask)

  • Small wire sewn at the top of the mask to form-fit along the bridge of your nose

  • Sizing (measure the distance from ear to ear across the bridge of your nose)

    • Small - 12 or less inches, youth ages 10+ or adults

    • Medium - 12-13 inches, adults

    • Large - 13+ inches, adults

    • model styled in the MEDIUM

  • Made in Honolulu, Hawaii and paying a living wage to local workers

  • This is a limited-run of 100 masks, using fabric on hand

  • Care: Machine washable, hang dry
