open to all levels! ages 16+ let's do this again! we all have that ONE shirt or pair of pants; those garments with those little wears and tears we've been meaning to mend but never seem to have the time for. in this workshop, we will learn a few creative ways to mend our pre-loved clothing. as we mend, we will discuss the importance of sustainability and slowness in fashion (and our everyday lives!). start your year right; lets get mending! ayaka takao holds a bfa in fiber art from the maryland institute college of art, with a background of garment construction, textile design, and soft sculpture.
