Workshop Description
1 day workshop With Kilikina All levels welcome All materials provided (bring black apron/wear dark clothes in case ink spills) Ages 18+ In this class, students will be introduced to 4 basic brush strokes. We will practice making a traditional circular stroke called Enso, represents enlightenment, freedom and the state of no-mind. We will also practice making bamboo, flowers, and a bird. Unlike other types of painting, there is no over painting, each simple stroke is only done once. Suggestion: you may wear an apron, black or old clothes that you wouldn't mind getting a splash of ink on.
