Workshop Description
4 day workshop + limited open studio time With Ashanty Cruz Must have experience wtih centering+pulling cylinders Ages 18+ Take the next step on the wheel! Building on your cylinder skills, you’ll learn to shape, trim, and glaze your pieces, with limited open studio time and firing fees included. What to bring: Leftover clay from your Centering + Cylinders session, or purchase a new bag at the studio. Wear an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! Note: This is a skills-focused workshop — while a few select pieces will be fired, the emphasis is on practice and building a strong foundation. Open studio sessions will be arranged to work with each student’s schedule (more info will be provided on the first day of class). Prerequisite: You should have completed our Centering + Cylinders workshop or have experience centering and pulling a cylinder. Please bring your own apron or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
