Workshop Description
4 day workshop +limited open studio time With Jaimie Nagle Need to have taken Centering+Cylinders or know how to center and pull a cylinder Need to purchase clay (cone 5) and bring own apron All tools supplied Ages 18+ Join Jaimie Nagle (Icky Love Pottery) and take the next step on the wheel! Building on skills learned in Centering+Cylinders, participants will learn to shape their cylinders (into a mug? a bowl?), trim, and basic glazing. Limited open studio time and firing fees included. What to bring: Clay (you can purchase a new bag at the studio or bring in your own - must be cone 5). Apron or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! Note: This is a skills-focused workshop — while participants will get to fire more pieces than in the first workshop, the emphasis is on practice and building a strong foundation. Prerequisite: Completed Centering + Cylinders workshop or have solid experience centering and pulling a cylinder (if you fall into the later, please email us to be sure this is the appropriate workshop for you).
