Workshop Description
4 day workshop With Forest Leonard All levels welcome Ages 18+ *please note the last day of workshop (glaze day) will be in july* Hand building with slabs is a fun way to transform flat pieces of clay into usable pieces. In this 4-week class, instructor Forest Leonard will guide you through drafting, cutting, and assembling slabs to build a 3-piece dining set: a mug, bowl, and plate. Using geometric templates and hand-forming techniques, you’ll explore texture, pattern, and composition while developing your own design sensibility. Open to ceramic artists of all levels. All materials provided.
