Workshop Description
4 day workshop With Allison Arakawa All levels welcome, Ages 18+ Join Allison for a month-long course where you’ll learn to create a beautiful matcha chawan (bowl) with delicate water-etched 3D designs. Allow your creativity to flow as you craft a one-of-a-kind chawan. After the workshop, enjoy a serene experience as you discover the art of preparing matcha with traditional sweets, guided by a special instructor from Japan.

if for any reason you are unable to attend our workshop, we kindly request that you pass on the opportunity to a friend who may benefit from it. please note that we can only offer a 50% refund on a case-by-case basis, and only under extenuating circumstances. unfortunately, we cannot provide any refunds within 72 hours of the workshop start time. as an artist-led organization, we have dedicated a significant amount of time and effort to carefully plan and prepare for this workshop, including purchasing materials. we ask that you please respect our hard work and commitment before making a purchase. thank you for your understanding. if a class is canceled due to low attendance or teacher emergency then you may receive a full refund or choose another available class to attend.
